In this peper, we analysed the influence of ENSO on synoptic climate in Shaanxi Province. The results show that if ENSO happens, droughts will occur in autumn in the current year and next spring, the amount precipitation in next fall will be rather much. So when ENSO happens the yield of summer crops will below the average in the next year, and that will above the average in the third year. Besides, Southern Oscillation and the rainfall of Indian monsoon relative to EL Nino also influence the harvests of summer crops. Ahear of 1~2 years, we can comprehensively forecast the harvests of summer crops by using ENSO data.

The microclimate of mixed pig house for raising sows, fatten pigs and farrows in double plastic greenhouse in the middle of Hebei Province was observed in winter. It was found that the temperature and sunlight intensity in the greenhouse were 5.2~19.1℃ and 15000lx respectively in sunny day, 6.1~13.0℃ and 3000lx respectively in cloudy day, the humidity in it was 71%~84%, and the ammonia concentration was 11.6~26.8mg/m 3. Compared with the hygienic standard, the result showed that the temperature is still lower, the ammonia concentration is beyond the standard sometime, the humidity is slightly higher, and the sunlight intensity is too strong.

Drought is a severe natural hazard in agricultural production in Beijing Tianjin Hebai Plain Area (BTHPA) in the North China Plain. A new agricultural drought index (CSDI) expressed by a relative yield was introduced, and spatial and temporal variations of agricultural drought in this rainfed area were analyzed. Through analysis of the CSDI values of 18 representative spots distributed in BTHPA from the year of 1961 to 1990, four types of agricultural drought in this area can be concluded. According to the severity of agricultural drought, the area could be divided into four regions, i.e. the northeast coastal plain with light drought, the north plain and east coastal plain with medium drought, the central plain and west plain with heavy drought, and Hei Long Gang area with extreme severe drought. Risk analysis on agricultural drought further revealed the possibility of drought stricken in agricultural production in the area.

According to the results of experiments and investigations, it is determined that the boll-weight smaller than 2.5g is the index of boll-weight of invalid cotton bolls in Guanzhong region. Based on the quantitative rations relation between boll weight and heat conditions during the boll-setting period, the heat smaller than 235℃·d is determined as the heat index of invalid cotton bolls. In Guanzhong region, the daily mean temperature is larger or equal to the effective accumulated temperature of 15℃. Methods for calculating the data of cutting invalid bolls are advanced. The Markov Forecast model of cuting invalid bolls in Guanzhong region has been built, and good results are obtained in example analysis and tests.

The meteorological effects of covering ground around tree trunks with different materials in peach orchard and their relations to the peach outputs and qualities were studied. The results show that in orchard where the grounds are covered with different materials, the total radiation inside the tree crowns obviouily increased, especially the ground where is covered with silver film, the radiation increased by 24%, which is the greatest; The physical characters of the soils are improved, the soil moisture and porosities greatly increased; The fruit outputs and quanlities are improved, especially on the ground where is covered with the silver film; Among the different materials, the silver films’ meteorological effects are most obviously and the wheat straws are most economically and practically.
