The expert system of yield forecast to winter wheat (i.e. “OOWFE”), which uses object oriented programming language (C ++ ) is a system orienting object. All factors are describled as knowlege type prototype storage. It is classifed different types knowlege of such as the knowlege of expert and exprience index and statistical model by factors relating to factors of yields. The expert system is constructed through autoreasoning with the systomatic reasoning mechanism. This system can realize the interacting funtion with consumer. The percision of forecast reached 90%.

Aiming at some problems of meteorological yields sequences, such as the worse time series comparability for long yield sequences, the higher regression error for yield prediction equations and meteorological yield series being not consistent with nomal distribution, the concept of yield stages is developed. The result of study shows that yield sequences consist of a series of yield stages whose developments are relatively stable. However, there are jump phenomena between any two yield stages, which should be processed individually. The methods that divide yield stages by using the best K division way and decide the stage numbers based on the results of periodic analysis are conducted. Finally, the yield prediction equations for winter wheat are established and the different yield harvests year types (bumper, common or scanty harvest year) of summer maize in Henan Province are divided in terms of the way of yield stages dividing.

A model was developed to simulate the soil nitrogen dynamics during wheat growing season in the lower valley of the Yangtze River based on soil nitrogen equation. The model was used to simulate the average available nitrogen content in soil profile of 0~40cm deep during the wheat growing season in Nanjing area and parameters in the model were determined using experimental data. The results showed that the average absolute error between the simulated data and the observed data was -20.1 kg/hm 2, and the standard error of the average absolute error was 32.1 kg/hm 2.

Based on investigations, researches and scientific experiments, the cool injury index and frost index to crops that fit the fact of heilongjiang Province are analyzed and obtained. Delaying type cool injury index is a dynamic value varies with different regional temperatures. Obstructing type cool injury index is that the daily mean temperature for three successive days is lower than 18 degrees centigrade at 9 to 11 days before heading of rice. Frost index is based upon the period in which 80% of the dates’ daily mean temperatures of the region are not less than 10 degrees centigrade and the early date on which the lowest temperature is equal to or less than zero degree centigrade. If the later is earlier than the former it is considered as early frost. To prevent cool injury, work has been done to classify Heilongjiang Province into three zones and five sub zones according to different degrees of cool injuries. In addition, direction of agricultural development has been evaluated and risk reduction measures have been offered.

The maize cultivar Jidan No.159 was used and treated at low temperautre of 6℃ and 10℃ for 3 and 6 days at the third expanded leaf stage in phytotrone. The results showed that proline content, electric conductivity increased significantly. The chlorophyll content and photosynthetic capacity greatly decreased. At the same time, the symptom of delaying style cold injury occured on treated seedlings.

The number of parameters and their biological interpretation involved in “rice clock” model and two other rice development models were analyzed by employing mathematical method in this paper. The results show that there is a relationship between P and Q, the coefficients of temperature sensitivity of rice in three models. The temperature sensitivity of rice can be described by the same form in three models. And the “rice clock” model is the best one for description of rice development among the three models.

The relationship between the days required at various growing stages of wheat and the vegetational index and the normal accumulated temperature were quantitatively analyzed and the quantitative retations between them were obtained. So, it provides a new way for the application of the vegetational index of NOAA in meteorological service for wheat production

The agroclimatic conditions favorable or unfavorable for growing hybrid rice in Yunnan Province were analyzed and compared with that in other provinces of the country. Thus the relevant agrometeorological indexes for growing hybrid rice in Yunnan Province were determined. The agroclimatic zoning and description of each zone for growing hybrid rice in Yunnan Province were completed.
