The sensible heat flux and latent heat fulx were estimated from the profile method and surface energy budget equation during, a micrometeorological experiment conducted over a wheat field and stubble in the summer of 1988. The result had shown fairly good agreement between flux measurements using the fluxatron and those estimated from the gradient method, the transfer of energy over a wheat field are conducted by latent and sensible heat flux, and the former is the main forms. The latent heat flux over a wheat field are greater than those over a stubble. This provides an efective method to calculate energy balance over a field.
