On the basis of analysis of the regularity of rice colony density variation, defects of the logistic model in the simulation of the grow.h process of paddy rice colony density are indicated. Therefore a modified logistic model with time-lag effect is used in the dynamical simulation and its biological significance is discussed. Simulation results for the density variation of the early rice, Single-crop rice, late rice show that the revised model is much better.

The Liaoehun No. 6 belong to the grade of strong springness wheat in group of the vernal type on the variety ecotype. The experiment in artificial climatic chest indicated that it has normal process of growth and development in consistent short-day environment and in the cooperation with the regular high temperature, the process of booting is not late, the type of photoperiod showed short-day babit. Months of short-day have possibility to planting this spring wheat in regions of suitable temperature. The season of short-day have possibility to propagating seeds by regular facilities in other regions.
