n this paper, by using heat and water coupled equations, the annual variations of soil freezing and thawing in the situation of saturated soil were simulated. The law of annual variations of frozen depth and the charateristics of water moving to freezing interface were analyzed. Additionally, The temperature factor affecting frozen depth was also analyzed.

he microclimatical effects of seedbed on rice seedling raising in dryland and their influences on seedlings growth and yield were studied. The seedlings in paddy fields were used as control. The results showed that there existed significant differences between the two kinds of seedling culturing patterns in microclimatical effects of seedbed. The quality of rice seedlings cultured in dryland was better than those cultured in paddy fields, and there were great differences in morphological characters between them, too.

y using the principles of statistics and the method of analysis, the effect of meteorological factors on spike grain number in main development phases of winter wheat is analyzed, and the ecoclimatic model of the spike grain number is establised. It is found that, during jointing to heading, the disadvataegous condition for spike grain number are partly rain, arid air. After heading, lower mean temperature, 58% of relative humidity and precipitation of 107.3mm are in favour of increasing spike grain number.

nvironment of pig house with windows in winter in Wuhan was studied. Result showed that the temperature and humidity in farrowing house were 8.1~9.96℃ and 70%~80% respectively, the temperature and humidity in nursery house were 5.22~7.30℃ and 83.4%~86.0% respectively. When with ventilation, the inside air velocity were suitable , and ammonia concentration inside is within the limits permitted by some nations.

he spectral absorptivity of summer corn leaves at different ages and different positions was studied with different varieties in this paper. The result showes that although the trend of spectral absorptivity from different wavebands in similar basically, there exists difference among leaves at different positions and different aged leaves of different varieties. The leaves growing luxurantly absorb the visible light higher than the old ones, and the absorptivity of upright style corn is higher than the open and flat type. There also exists difference between the surface and back side of leaves in absorptivity. For leaves of growing luxuriantly, the absorptivity is higher at the surface than the back side, but for old leaves, the absorptivity at the back side is higher than the surface.

ased on the systematic analysis of agroclimatic resources in Xinjiang cotton regions, some corrections and modifications to the cotton plantingdivision were made. It is proposed that some opinions of cotton division should be changed some areas in north Xinjiang, such as the lowerreaches of Wusu, Jinghe etc. should be regarded as suitable ranks which are the same as the most regions in south Xinjiang. It is not right to expand planting area in risk cotton regions.

he relationship bwtween seed protein content and 9 different climatic factors was analysed in 4 different regions by using 3 oil sunflower varieties as the experimental materials. By means of correlation and stepwise regression analysis, the results showed that the mean of maximum temperature and relative humidity in the period of flowering to maturing was the most important factor affecting seed protein content. In a certain scope, the mean highest daily temperature and slightly higher relative humidity were advantageous to the accumulation of seed protein content. 

ased on the seeding data from different seeding periods of corn, this paper analyzes the relationship between temperature and growing speed of corn at different growing stages. A conclusion is reached that it is relatively stable to use effectively accumulated temperature as heat index at vegetative growth period. From seeding the period to the period of emergence, the lower limit of temperautre is 8℃ which is hardly varies among varieties. From the period of emergence to heading period, the accumulated temperature needed is calculated according to the number of leaves. The relation of effectively accumulated temperature and the number of leaves is expressed as follows: y=30.2x+31.8. After entering into reproductive period, the accumulated temperature greater than or equal to 10℃ is considered as heat index from heading to ripening. This heat index is corrected during heading period. According to heat indexes of different developing stages from seeding to ripening, whether it will ripen or not can be determined, so can the extent of output reduction resulted from the grade of maturity. The plating border for a variety in the north is defined according to whether it ripens in 80 percent of the years.
