Experiments of wheat ecology were conducted in Beijing from 1988 to 1990. Springness ecotype of wheat cultivars have tillering stage of spring in late sowing stage in autumn, these cultivars could complete their life cycle by side stem ear. Springness and winterness wheat cultivars could attain to same growth stages such as flowering and maturation in these sowing stages, springness cultivars could have better thousand-grain weight. In early sowing stages at spring, winterness wheat cultivars could attain to stages such as earing, flowering and maturation. The concert of 0-15℃temperature and shorter day-length were ensured vernalization in field for winterness ecotype of wheat cultivars. Springness and winterness wheat cultivars have wider scope of ecological adaptation.

Many mathematic statistical methods were used for analyzing the relationship between meteorological factors and the content of seed protein or oil, on summer soybean varieties in the southern 1st group of Huang Huai Hai regional test (1985-1989). The result indicated that: the formation of seed protein were reqired different meteorological-factors from seed oil. The second decade in August was the complex key-climatic stage which had influence on the formation of protein and its major meteorological factor was temperature. The first decade in August was the complex key-climatic stage which had influence on the content of seed oil and its major factor was the sunshine-hours. The temperature range in each day had mainly influenced on the formation both of seed protein and seed oil. And found out such meteorological indexes that influenced on the formation of protein and oil.
