Abstract: This paper discusses the differingdistribution of direct solar light anddiffuse solar light,which are scatterednot only by the sky but foliage andreflection from the ground,in modeledfoliage groupings.The methods of cal-culating their intensities on horizontoland leaf surfaces are given and theircharacteristics are discussed.
