Abstract: The population that formed a flourishing shoots in the early stage and not shaded severely in the later stage is a high yield character and struct- ure which is in favor of gas exchange and transmission of sunlight. As co- ncerns most years, water is a dorminant meteorological factor which lim- its soybean production in Heilongjiang Province. The narrow line span is in favor of water reservation.Among soybean species cultivated in Heil- ongjiang, the micrometeorological environment between plants where maximum LIA is around 6 and dencity is about 0.35-0.45 million plants ha is appropriate and the yield is higher.Lodging have great effect on yield and quality. The rowcropping-can relatively reduce the lodging degree, and it also can relatively increase soil temperature by comparison with sowing on level row.
