Abstract: The field experiments on wine grape in Ningxia Autonomous Region during 2004 and 2005 were conducted to determine impacts of the different light intensities and qualities on photosynthesis and sugar accumulation of wine grape. The results showed that the light quality had a remarkable effect on the net photosynthesis of wine grape. The photosynthesis of wine grape covered with color film was enhanced when the light was weak. The net photosynthesis of wine grape increased with the increasing of the light intensity. The difference of various treatments was big in the morning and reduced afternoon. The light intensity affected the sugar accumulation to some extent. The sugar accumulation increased with the increasing of the light intensity. The sugar accumulation could be influenced and mainly reduced by color film covering.
