Abstract: Based on the meteorological data from 1971 to 2000 in six stations in Cangzhou areas,the daily average wind speed and sunshine hours were analyzed by using statistical analysis and wavelet analytical methods.The results showed that the change of sunshine hours was not obviously for different years,but there was a vibration cycle in three and six years.The average wind speed showed a significant decline trend.The annual decline rate of the wind speed was by 0.04 m/s.The mutation of the average wind speed occurred in 1994.The average wind speed showed a decline trend in the different seasons.
