Abstract: The relationship between the meteorological conditions during the growing period and the yield of the flue-cured tobacco for seven counties in Tianshui was analyzed.The main meteorological factors which influenced the yield of the flue-cured tobacco were the precipitation during budding stage and resettling growth stage,namely in July,and the average air temperature in July and August.Based on the match of the precipitation and the average temperature to the different levels of the tobacco yield,the climate indexes were calculated and the climate division for the suitability of the flue-cured tobacco production was made.
