Abstract: Based on the data measured by the eddy covariance method in 2002,we analyzed the seasonal variations of the surface heating field, energy balance, aboveground biomass and belowground biomass of the kobresia alpine meadow in the Northern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. The results showed that the surface of the alpine meadow ecosystem was heat resources. There was evidently seasonal variation in heating field, whose annual mean value was with 88.5Wm-2 in 2002.Both aboveground biomass and belowground biomass had seasonal variations as well as.There was positive correlation between aboveground biomass and heating field, while there was not significant relationship between belowground biomass and heating field.
