    The agricultural technical potential and response measures adapted to CO_2 fertilization effect in the perspective of crop breeding,cultivation and farming systems under climate change were summarized.New theories and technologies should be comprehensively applied in crop breeding to improve the eco-physical characteristics of crops,so as to adapt to the elevated CO_2 concentration in the atmosphere;The following measures should be taken in farming systems to adapt the climate change: adjusting sowing period,changing cropping systems,adjusting crop distribution on dryland and irrigated land, and selecting C_3 or C_4 crop.Adjusting crop canopy temperature,improving irrigation conditions,maintaining water supply and nutrients in soil,and managing diseases,pests,weeds,and other extreme climate disasters should applied as comprehensive response measures in the perspective of crop cultivation.

    Based on assessment of climatic ecological adaptability of leguminous grass in returning farmland to forest,a case study on effects of tree-grass models on climate resource efficiency in Zhongyang County of Shanxi Province was conducted,compared with the tree-weed model.The results showed that the leguminousgrasses,such as Astragalus adsurgens、Melilvtus suaveolens and Medicago sativa were suitable to plant in young plantations of experimental area.The growing stage of Astragalus adsurgens was longest among the three leguminous grasses,and its hydrothermal coefficient was the highest.During the growing stage of leguminous grasses in 2002 and 2003,for three tree-grass complex systems of Platycladus orientalis-Astragalus adsurgens(M3),Platycladus orientalis-Melilvtus suaveolens(M3) and Platycladus orientalis-Medicago sativa(M3),the utilization efficiency of solar energy was increased by 49.1%(2002),66.0%(2003);66.2%,85.1% and 76.6%,97.2% respectively.The efficiency of thermal resource was increased by 73.4%(2002),66.2%(2003);94.8%,85.1% and 97.6%,85.8% respectively.The precipitation use efficiency was increased by 79.3%(2002),81.2%(2003);116.9%,100.4% and 77.3%,64.0% respectively.And comprehensive using efficiency of the climate resource was increased by 70.6%(2002),81.3%(2003);104.7%,100.5% and 71.7%,69.2% respectively.The climate resource time efficiency(TE) of M2 and M3 was slightly lower than the control,but that of M3 was higher than the control.The TE of M1 during the growing stage in 2002 and 2003 was increased by 16.1% and 16.7%,compared with the control model.

    Based on the observed micro-climate data in two meteorological stations in Dalinor,the micro-climate characteristic of wetlands was analyzed.The results showed that the wetland had obvious effects in decreasing the air temperature in summer.The process of increasing the air temperature in spring and decreasing that in autumn was slower than that of the land.The wetland could reduce the spring air temperature and increase that in autumn,which would regulate the local climate and provide the corresponding climate conditions of habitat for the specific animal and plant species in the region.In three observation seasons as a representation,the relative humidity in the wetland was higher than that of the land at large.The micro-climate characteristics of the wetland had an obvious "cold-humid effect".

    By applying the improved Kassam-Wageningen method-the model of Agro-ecological zone,the crop productivity of rice, wheat and sweet potato in Fujian Province was calculated.The composing characteristics of the climate-soil productivity of grain crops in the different areas in Fujian Province was analyzed.Spatial and temporal changes of main factors which affected the food security of Fujian Province,such as the area of cultivated land,unit area yield of grain crop and population,were analyzed and predicted.The results showed that the amount of grain food per capital in Fujian Province was seriously lack.The consumable grain food was below 400 kg per capital per year and this trend would not be changed in a quite long period,particularly in the Southeast and South of Fujian Province.The response recommendations to ensure the food security were put forward.

    Based on the observed data of precipitation,temperature and sunshine time from 1950 to 2003 in Xi'an,the climate change characteristics were analyzed.The results showed that the temperature of Xi'an had an increasing trend,which increased 0.72℃ from 1951 to 1990.Temperature increasing mainly took place after 1985.The precipitation of Xi'an had a decreasing trend with fluctuation.Compared with other 4 cities like Lanzhou,Ulumuqi,Xining and Yinchuan in the Northwest China,the temperature in Xi'an had an increasing trend,while the precipitation and sunshine time had a decreasing trend.The trend of climate change in Xi'an was becoming warmer and drier,while that in Lanzhou,Ulumuqi,Xining and Yinchuan was becoming warmer and wetter.

    Based on the statistical analysis of air temperature data 1960-2003 in Jishou City,a linear estimate on the trend and difference of temperature variations for the accumulative and three baseline years were analyzed by using the least square method.The results showed that the average air temperature in July and average maximum air temperature decreased,while the average air temperature in winter months,e.g.December,January and February,increased.The warm winter and cool summer trends were more obvious.It existed a "cold period" from the beginning of 1960's to mid-late of 1970's and a "warm period" from the beginning of 1990's.

    Based on the meteorological data in 1961-2003 in the East of Guanzhong Areas of Shaanxi Province,the spatial and temporal distribution of the limited climate factors affected the greenhouse production in winter,such as extreme minimum air temperature,fog and continued cloudy days,was analyzed.The results showed that the extreme minimum air temperature,fog and continued cloudy days had an increased trend in winter.The trend of climate variations in the north and south of the Weihe River was different.The recommendations to promote the greenhouse production for vegetables and fruits in Dali County and properly reduce the greenhouse production in the areas along the Weihe River were put forward.

    The numerical model coupling soil moisture and thermal transfer of the crop field was consisted of the soil unbalanced thermodynamics equation,the one-dimensional unsaturated water flow equation through homogeneous soil which was the sum of the non-isothermal model in the bare soil and the water-uptake-by-root function.Associated with the initial and boundary conditions,Newton-Naphson iterative technique adopted,the numerical model was computed,while the variables and the parameters of the function were confirmed.The results showed that the simulated values were very close to the measurements.As the soil layer increased,the accuracy of simulative results would be improved.

    The investigation of low air temperature in two farms in Lianjian County was made.The results showed that the biggest temperature inversion occurred in the top of the hill,when the relative height of hill is below 50m.The biggest temperature inversion occurred in about 70m,while the relative height of hill is 80m,In the course of low air temperature in the winter of 2004/2005 in Pudong farm of Lianjian County,olives which planted below 44m above sea level suffered freeze harm,while olives which planted between 68m to 85m above sea level did not suffer freeze harm.When the minimum air temperature is below-2.0 ℃,olive leaves would be frozen.When the minimum air temperature is below-2.7 ℃,the first top sticks of olive would suffer freeze.When the minimum air temperature is below-3.0℃,the second top sticks of olive would be frozen.

    Based on the work of routine operation on the drought monitoring applying remote sensing model by NOAA/AVHRR data in recent years,the regional drought monitoring model by MODIS and the process of data treatment was established,considering the factors related to drought,such as water,land use/cover,topographic factor,climate and vegetation coverage in Shaanxi Province.By using the established model and work flow,the severe spring drought of 2005 in Shaanxi Province was successfully monitored.The results showed that the drought monitoring applying remote sensing,based on the MODIS data by the thermal inertia method and vegetation supply water index(VSWI),was feasible.The modified VSWI model could improve the precision and visual effect of the estimated drought area.

    Precipitation,temperature,wind speed are meteorological factors forming the snow.The perpetual snow has an adverse impact on the animal husbandry in certain degree,because of the vulnerability of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the snow.Factors causing calamity,calamity environment and animal husbandry were analyzed by using theory of calamity study step by step to identity the function and interaction among the factors.Therefore,the gradual differentiating model for snow calamity was established,supported by database of GIS.The model included some factors,such as precipitation,perpetual snow,causing of disaster,assessment of calamity,which were monitored and evaluated finally.From beginning of precipitation,the snow calamity development trend was monitored.Potentially the model could be used in the routine operation for the disaster assessment.

    By using the observation data of winter wheat yields of different sowing dates in the Sichuan Basin,the numeric expressions of spatial distribution of main growing periods of winter wheat were established.Based on the GIS technology and the 1:250000 DEM,the fine spatial distribution maps for suitable sowing period,date of heading,mature period and days of the growth and development of winter wheat in Chongqing area were drawn.The results provided the basis for fine spatial distribution of growth and development process on winter wheat.

    DYNAGAGE packaged sap flow system produced in DYNAMAX company of America and MONITOR auto weather station were applied to measure the sap flow flux of trunk and micro-environmental meteorological factors from 20th August to 21st September in Ludong University,and the sap flow and micro-environmental meteorological data were analyzed with the principal components analysis method.Results showed that the environmental factors affected trunk sap flow could be divided into two principal components,the solar radiation and the atmospheric humidity.The comprehensive effect factors were highly related to the sap flow flux by the regression analysis.The coefficient of determination was 0.867.The result of regression analysis of comprehensive environmental factor with sap flow flux was compared with total solar radiation,photosynthesis available radiation,air temperature,relative humidity and wind speed.Results showed that comprehensive environmental factor was a reasonable index for sap flow flux's predicting in short time.

    Taken the winter wheat variety Jingdong 8(JD8) with the strong winter hardiness as CK,the field experiment was conducted to study the growth characteristics before winter,winter hardiness and yield constitution of the new winter wheat variety Dongzao 5(DZ5),one of the non-photosensitive and extreme early mature wheat variety.The results showed that the critical temperature for mortality(LT50) of DZ5 was(-(14.9℃)),it is 1.8℃ higher than that of JD8,and it is a weak winter hardiness winter wheat variety.The harvest date of DZ5 was 4 days earlier and its yield was 43.4 % higher than that of JD8.DZ5 could over-winter safely in Beijing and the south areas of Beijing.

    Based on the data of yields of early spring crops in 1972-2004 and of ten meteorological factors which had the optimum gray relevancy with the crop yield in Yunnan Province,the Grey Prediction Model GM(0,N) was established by using raw data and residual error series,and the trend yield of early spring crops was predicted.The results showed that the verified grey prediction model GM(0,N) was suitable for prediction of the trend yields.The forecast results had certain reference value.

    Based on the observed meteorological and soybean yield data from 1970 to 2004 in Suixi County,the statistical analysis of relationship between precipitation and yield of summer soybean was made.The result showed that the correlation between precipitation during seedling,filling stage and precipitation days during podding and the whole growth period and soybean yield were significantly positive.Soybean yields were mainly constrained by spatial and temporal abnormity characteristics of summer precipitation in soybean growing areas.The suitable precipitation range during the growing period of summer soybean was determined.

    The experiment was conducted to determine the influence of different regulation and control methods of soil moisture,such as plastic film mulching,covering grass under trees,growing grass under trees,irrigating regularly,loosening the soil under trees,on quality of fruit in a nonpublic nuisance crisp pear garden in the area of Old Course of Yellow River.The results showed that the soil moisture was moderate for the tree growth by plastic film mulching and covering grass under trees,which had led to higher yield and quality of the fruit than that of other treatments.

    Based on the yield and meteorological data,such as sunlight,temperature and precipitation during 1985-2004 in different growing periods of hill dryland maize in Tianshui,the main meteorological factors which influenced the yield of hill dryland were analyzed,by stepwise regression method.The relationship between sunlight-temperature,temperature-precipitation,sunlight-precipitation and sunlight-temperature-precipitation with the main meteorological factors coefficients were analyzed as well.The suitable range of different agricultural climate resources allocation was identified.The results are of significance for the agricultural production.

    The experimental study on maize mulched with the plastic film was conducted in the East Areas of Jilin Province to determine the ecological effects,such as water and thermal effects.The results showed that the plastic mulching could rise the soil temperature by 3~5℃ and increase the accumulated temperature by about 180℃ in fine day,while the soil moisture content increased by 2~4%.The soil temperature and moisture increase was not significant in overcast and rainy day.The soil moisture content under the plastic mulching condition in heavy rainy days was significant lower than that without plastic mulching.The soil water and thermal conditions could be improved by the plastic mulching.The growth and development of maize were improved as well.

    According to the relationship between sugarcane growth and climate conditions,Indexes for agro-climate division of sugarcane planting were determined.By using the climate and geographic data recorded in the 90 meteorological stations for 30 years in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,the spatial distribution models of division index were established.The spatial distribution of division indexes in no-station regions was calculated on grids of 1km×1km based on GIS.The suitable planting areas for sugarcane in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region were divided to provide the scientific basis for optimizing distribution of sugarcane planting.

    According to analysis of the correlation and integral regression of meteorological conditions of white seed melon during the growing period in the East of Gansu Province,the index for division of eco-climate planting area of white seed melon was determined.The precipitation from June to July,the relative air humidity from June to August and the temperature difference between day and night in September were main indexes.Five eco-climate planting areas in the East of Gansu were identified,based on these indexes.
