Preliminary study on surface temperature of panicle branch in two different cold-tolerant indica rice varieties, Chinese current rice Gui-Chao 2 and US current rice Lemont, showed that the surface temperature of panicle branch got highly significant correlationship to the atmospheric temperature, surface temperature of canopy leaves, surface temperature of lower leaves, surface temperature of stem, water temperature and daily variation of solar irradiance.

This paper simulates some physiological characteristic of some wheat seedling and herbage, the plants were grown under 20-24℃ of day temperature and 7-10℃ of night temperature and 10-17℃ of daily range. Influences of night temperature on certain physiological effects of some wheat seedling and herbage were dealt with at seedling stage in Qinghai-Xizang plateau. The experimental results showed that low night temperature increased contents of total chlorophyll and chlorophyll b, be advantageous to enhancement of vitality of roots, and accumulations of a large number dry materials, increased activity of peroxidase, changed the isozymes pattern, produced much greater band. low night temperature is obvious on accumulation of carbohydrate especially. Thus it demonstrated that low night temperature during growing season in Qinghai-Xizang plateau area is very much benefit crops and herbages, and pointed out the main meteorological factors such as the continuous high-yield in several crops, better quality of the herbage in the area of Qinghai-Xiang plateau.
