Abstract: Based on weather documents recorded by the 11 stations of Jinzhong from 1961 to 2007,the climatic changes of the Jinzhong were studied.The results showed that the temperature increased at the rate of 0.34℃ per 10 years and frost-free period increased at the rate of 4.7 days per 10 years,but precipitation decreased at the rate of 35.9mm per 10 years and sunshine hours decreased significantly in 1990s.So the area of food crops decreased but the vegetables and cash crops planting area increased.
