    Based on the analysis of climate, topography, and land use, by applying "3S" technology and climatic division method, the division of navel-orange planting areas in Wanan county of Jiangxi Province is studied. So the trditional division method of agroclimatic division is developed into climatic programming.

    In this paper, the soil dependant parameters used in CottonPlus were calibrated and validated with data sets which were obtained in north & south of Qu-Zhou experimental station Hebei Province, in 1998. The results showed that the model with the validated soil parameters can generally simulate the change of soil water content in growing season.

    The indexes of drought used in remote sensing monitoring in Anhui are obtained based on the analysis of NOAA/AVHRR data of drought occurred in different seasons of a year. These indexes had been used in drought monitoring in 1997 and 1998. The result shows that the inexes are satistactory for operation of drought remote sensing monitoring.

    An experiment was carried out to study the effect of differents O3 concentrations on winter wheat leaf. The results showed that O3 concentrations had negative influences on leaf amount, leaf area, leaf dry weight of wheat. And with the increase of O3 concentration the injury to leaf was heav ier and the senescence of leaf speeded up.

    Combating drought for keeping a full stand of seedings has always been one of the main measures of agricultural production. The efficient nutritious water-preserving agent is a compound with water-preserving materials as the main matrix. Having been tested in the field experiment, it shows the functions of improving the germination of corn seeds, combating drough and keeping a full stand of seedlings, promoting the stem and leaves growth as well as the development of the root, in- creasing the content of chlorophyll and enhancing the photosynthesis. It is worth popularizing and ap plying in agricultural production.

    The meteorological index and its distribution was concluded by analysing the incidence situa tion of prawn and the main meteorological factors during the period of incidene of virosis of prawn in Jiangsu's littoral. Some ways preventing the virosis of prawn were suggested. The equation forecasting the meteorological index has been created with the meteorological data of Sheyang county.

    Experiments were carried out in 1997~1998 in Yongchuan of Chongqing to study the effect of interannual climate difference on ratooning rice of hybrid midseason rice. Light and temperature difference between the two years in main growing seasons and its effect on ear number, grain mumber and grain weight as well as its important role on the difference between years in yield and growing period were analyzed. The results of analysis have provided a basis for the development and improvement of ratooing rice.

    Major factors affecting Fuji apple quality were studied by space alignment analysis between fruit quality and meteo-factors in various regions. The division indexes were caculated in net squares, and piled up in GIS (citystar) based on different grades standard. The climate division picture of good quality Fuji apple supported by GIS (citystar) (0. 5km) was abtained.

    Based on the regional data of rice yield from 1964. using several mathematical ways to separate rice meteorological yield and divide rice climatic harvest to 3 patterns, rice yield model was established, and then the climatic features of every harvest patterns was analyzed.     Enhanced UV-B radiation significantly decreased the wheat bio-productivity and yield, but not the economic coefficient The decrease of bio-productivity mainly resulted from the decrease of LAI, but not the net assimilation rate, the sensitive period of the decrease of bio-productivity affected by enhanced UV-B radiation was not from elongation stage to ear pregnant stage.
