Abstract: It was supposed that meteorological suitability for emergence of core borer was the sum of product of suitability level determined by meteorological conditions and the corresponding weights. Prediction equation of meteorological suitability for emergence grade of corn borer in Inner Mongolia was established by using correlation method, based on meteorological data and the emergence data of corn borer from 1971 to 2005 in Inner Mongolia, considering physiology meteorological index of corn borer. The experiment results, from 2006 to 2010, showed that it was consistent between prediction and emergence, which indicated that the prediction equation could be used for monitoring and prediction of emergence grade of corn borer.
